2005

2010

Inception

We started crawling by manufacturing and selling kurta via the medium of exhibition and sold 100% quantity on the very first day of the first exhibition in Mumbai. Then slowly and gradually in a year, we expanded from 1 to 25 stitching machines.

We helped local brands by performing white label manufacturing. In the year 2009, we established Prakhya with our first retail store in Gaurav Tower, Jaipur which was followed by our second successful store in Citi Pulse Mall, Jaipur.

Augmenting

We started with the full-fledged manufacturing unit of our Brand Prakhya in the heart of the clothing world Sanganer, Jaipur. In the year 2012, we hit our first century by setting up our 100th stitching machine in our manufacturing unit and focused more on Private labelling and Prakhya outlets.

We joined hands with Flipkart by launching Prakhya and became the top kurta seller by selling more than 3000 units in a month during BBD sale in the first year, then again by selling 14000 units in 5 days during BBD sale the very next year. With this established Sanganer Clothing Private Limited.

We took a hit in the year 2017, but our vision of growing high wasn’t falling short anyhow and our team was very determined to make all those dreams come true. We kept our online selling active and kept performing on online platforms by serving our clients pan India. In the year 2020 when the pandemic hit our country, we were getting stable on our feet and with the help of online platforms and no-contact delivery systems we were able to stabilize our business and stand strong and completely recover from tough times.

Present

Sanganer Clothing Private Limited is now deeply rooted with its 17 years of the business relationship and constant service to the clients. We plan to launch different brands under the house and keep serving our clients with best in class quality products.

With bright clothes bringing together the colours of Rajasthan with modern trends in ready to wear clothing, the Rangeelo Rajasthan kurtis are trendy and inexpensive, so you can indulge yourself by buying your favourite kurtis in all the colours we have to offer. 

Our Vision

Ethnic roots, global vision

Sanganer, near Jaipur, is famous for its traditional block printing and textiles. The founder and CEO of Sanganer Clothing, Kushal Udaiwal, comes from a family of traditional block printers. Inspired by the his roots in traditional textiles, he has set his sights on creating internationally recognisable brands based in India.

Kushal Udaiwal started off by making and selling kurtis at exhibitions in 2005. His stock sold out completely on the very first day, and there’s been no looking back since. Quickly realising the potential of Sanganer Clothing, the company has seen explosive growth ever since.

All hail the Kurti

Bright hues, practical yet stylish, the kurti dominates the women’s ethnic wear segment. 

Women’s ethnic wear consists of 88% of the Indian ethnic wear market, which is expected to grow to close to 2 billion USD by 2018. Despite these volumes, the bulk of the sector so far consists of unbranded and unorganised retail.

In 2014, we launched our brand Prakhya on the e-commerce platforms Flipkart, Myntra and Jabong, and it quickly gained popularity thanks to its simple, bright designs that are practical yet stylish, in tandem with lower prices. 

This success was replicated with the launch of our second brand Rangeelo Rajasthan. Chic, perfect for work and festivals, Rangeelo Rajasthan took Flipkart’s Big Billion sale by storm in 2015, instantly rising to be one of the top sellers in its category.

We’re going places

Starting with one stitching machine in 2005, over the past decade, we have gone on to becoming suppliers to major Indian retailers like Westside, Lifestyle and FabIndia. We successfully ran 6 retail stores across India under the Prakhya brand.

Today, we have completely reinvented our business model, by retailing exclusively online. Our kurtis get delivered directly from our design studios to our customers. We use data consciously to understand what our customers want. By eliminating the middleman, we can deliver high quality at affordable prices. We hope to be a game changer in this sector by creating beautiful branded clothes that appeal to the dynamic woman of today. And we’re just getting started…
